DGL (Aust) Pty Ltd's head office is based in Brisbane from where Admin, Finance, HR, HSEQ and IT is run. Group Managers are national, but state based and have Warehouse Managers, Transport Managers and HSEQ Managers reporting to them. With motivated and qualified staff DGL does everything to keep customer satisfaction at the highest level. Operations are run in every state except Northern Territory.

DGL personnel receive comprehensive training in key and quality topics including handling of dangerous goods, hazardous substances, fire hose reel & extinguisher, emergency response and other customised criteria as controlled by the QMS. DGL acknowledges that their people are one of their most important assets, as they are dedicated, professional and passionate about everything they do. All our drivers, involved in hazardous transport, hold a Bulk Dangerous Goods Licence as company policy. Company training and development criteria is controlled and monitored through the Quality Management System (QMS).

John West - Managing Director

John West is the co-founder, majority shareholder and managing director of DGL Pty Ltd. John brings with him more than thirty years of experience in the logistics & transport industry. Twenty years of them he worked for the Mayne Nickless Group and attained the position of General Manager Australia for the Transport Management Division. Besides receiving the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport's Award for "Transport Achiever in the Transport and Logistics Industry", he also was awarded for "Management Excellence" by the Queensland Trucking Association. John is also past Chairman of the "Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (Australian Section)", past member of the board of QR and sits on a number of other industry related committees.
